New Railroad Transportation Option for 2021!

Core Agri, Inc is pleased to announce that we have completed a railroad spur to our plant operations in Humboldt, TN. This will allow our toll blending operations to quickly bring in materials direct from railroad tanker cars to our mixing facility. It also allows us to ship product back to customers in bulk tanker much more efficiently and at reduced costs.

Core Agri is one of the few toll blending services in the nation that has access to a railroad spur. This provides more efficient and effective services to our customers, quicker turnaround times on product, and reduced costs.

Types of Toll Blending Services

Our toll blending service depend on the customer requirement as well as the capacity we have to perform that service. There are 3 types of services we offer:

Turnkey

In our turnkey service, the customer provides the formula, or recipe, of the specialized compound. As the toll blender, we will work out everything else based upon delivery time and its production capacity. Due to our central location in the US and the nearness to customers in the agriculture industry, we can work on agreed timelines to take care of production, quality control, packaging, and delivery as quickly as possible.

Service

We also can provide the facilities and processes for the customer to perform their own blending. In this case, the customer will take a more prominent roll in material pricing, suppliers, packaging standards, materials, delivery schedules, and modes of transport.

Hybrid

This service is a combination of the above two types. For instance, the customer may provide some of the raw materials and/or packaging, while the rest of the efforts are taken care of by us.

This service type is often chosen by our customers who have multiple orders to be fulfilled and require exacting standards for their blending – in particular for one formula, while others in the order are more generic in nature with easier availability of the required quality ingredients, which can then be sourced to the toll blender.

Why use Core Agri Toll Blending Services?

There are some key reasons that specialized toll blending processes are outsourced to Core Agri. Those include:

Safety

Many of our customers use a lot of different ingredients in their finished products. These ingredients may require specialized custom handling or protective gear that we are able to provide.

Cost-Saving

One of the easiest ways to reduce cost – especially for complex compounds that may require specialized equipment, expertise, or processes is to outsource the work to Core Agri Toll Blending. We can provide a more economical process rather than customers having to set up and maintain their own in-house production units.

Regulation Compliances

Core Agri has been in the business of toll blending for many years – especially in the agriculture industry. Therefore, we are familiar with most of the safety and environmental regulations involved in blending complex compounds and products.

Confidentiality Issues

Industrial Espionage is common in this competitive industrial work environment. Many often have doubts about using an outsourced toll blender because of confidentiality issues. Core Agri ensures we have a full Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with the customers we work with. This agreement honors our customer’s secrecy and confidentiality.
