Core 10% Boron
General Information
CORE LIQUID BORON 10% is an effective, readily available source of boron for soil and foliar application to plants. It may be applied in water sprays, with pesticides, or with most liquid fertilizers. WARNING: Excess amounts of boron can cause plant injury.
DO NOT OVER APPLY! Always obtain boron recommendations from your local Certified Crop Advisor, Professional Agronomist or Agricultural Extension Service before applying.
WARNING: This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
Directions for Use
Proper timing, rate, and placement of CORE LIQUID BORON 10% is important for desired results and highly dependent on stage of crop growth, soil fertility levels, and environmental conditions.
For foliar applications, apply with enough water to thoroughly cover all foliage. Early morning or late evening applications generally give the best results. Because of the nature of Boron deficiencies (growing point disorders), CORE LIQUID BORON 10% should be applied in multiple applications.
For soil applications, apply with sufficient carrier to give complete coverage. For optimum performance, boron must be moved into the plant root zone in order to be absorbed by the plant. This can be accomplished by irrigation, rainfall, or tillage. Do not allow CORE LIQUID BORON 10% to come in direct contact with seed at any time.
Recommended Rates
CORE LIQUID BORON 10% is compatible with many liquid fertilizers, micronutrients, pesticides, and water. Addition of CORE LIQUID BORON 10% to these products should not be done without first testing compatibility on a small scale. When mixing with water fill container half full, add CORE LIQUID BORON 10%, then the remaining water. When mixing with pesticides, dilute CORE LIQUID BORON 10% with water prior to the addition of buffering agents and pesticides. Follow all directions and precautions on pesticide labels prior to mixing with CORE LIQUID BORON 10%. Ensure adequate agitation in all situations.

Field and Vegetable Crops (including cotton and fiber crops): Apply pint to 3 quarts per acre foliar or 1 to 2 gallons per acre soil applied prior to planting and incorporate thoroughly with tillage. Apply additional foliar boron in sufficient spray volume to ensure uniform coverage during early growth to bloom stage, then one to two subsequent applications at 2-week intervals or as needed to supplement nutritional requirements.
