Thrive Trophy Maker 12-61-0 Fish Pond Fertilizer
General Information
THRIVE® TROPHY MAKER 12-61-0 is a water-soluble, fish pond fertilizer containing high phosphorus content to help promote and establish healthy ponds and as a result, big fish. Proper pond fertilization increases fish health and can increase fish yield by 2 to 4 times. THRIVE® TROPHY MAKER 12-61-0 is formulated using the highest quality materials for optimum solubility and maximum performance.
General Application
Apply at a rate of 5-10 pounds per surface acre of water by broadcasting from shoreline or boat. Make the first application in late February or early March when the water temperature reaches 60° F. Monitor visibility with a Secchi Disk to adjust application rates. A desired reading is 18 to 24 inches. If greater than 24 inches, apply more THRIVE® TROPHY MAKER 12-61-0 at 2 to 3-week intervals.
Most ponds will require 6 to 10 applications per season. Stop applications by the end of October or when water temperatures drop below 60° F. Do not over-fertilize. Readings of less than 12 inches from the Secchi Disk translate to low oxygen levels which can create fish kill.
